One thing I know for sure…..I absolutely love what I do!
I love that a good photograph can tell a story without a spoken word, sometimes just a fleeting moment that can leave the beholder breathless. I love that it’s the little moments that make life BIG and that BIG moments create a need for a job like mine….capturing the “little moments” that result in timeless treasures.

AlainaMay 18th, 2011I always love newborn shoots and sweet baby Alaina was no exception! The session was even more special because she is the granddaughter of some great friends Greg & Angie. She was just precious, sleeping and posing like a little doll!
She even gave us a smile!
It was so much fun to be able to incorporate all the purple!
And her special blanket with her name on it!
Big Brother Justin is very proud of her!
What a cute nursery!
And I love the way her hair curls around the back of her head!

Phil & ReneeApril 9th, 2011It was such a pleasure to get to know Phil & Renee. They are an awesome couple, and I immediately felt as though I had known them and their family for years. The weather forecast did not look good for their wedding day at Hermann Hill. The prediction the entire week was 60-70% chance of rain and thunderstorms. But true to the unpredictability of Missouri weather, it didn’t happen! Just before their outdoor ceremony, the sky cleared, the sun appeared and four bald eagles flew overhead. It was truly breathtaking and gives me goose bumps thinking of the guitar music in the background as the eagles circled the Gazebo.
What a gorgeous bride! These images were taken on the deck overlooking the Missouri River at the cottage where Renee & Phil stayed at Hermann Hill.
Renee & Phil chose to see each other prior to the ceremony which gave us time to get some beautiful images of their love for each other.
I loved that they decided to dance on the rocks!
One of my favorite shots of the day – a little hint at what a fun couple they are!

Imagine this beautiful site with the sounds of the guitar in the background.
The scene couldn’t have been more romantic as the bride entered with her father.
Renee had made special rocks for each of their parents as a reminder of the special day.

I have 3 sets with trees inside, plus some fun props with the white background. We can also do holiday photos outside. Bring your kids, your family, and your pets. There’s still time to do a session and get custom designed cards.

They are printed are card stock paper in your choice of linen, smooth, or pearl texture with 2-5 images per card. The designs can be customized for your images and text using photos from any of your galleries in the past year or come in for a holiday session. I’ll be posting a blog tomorrow showing the trees and sets I have at my home studio or we can set a time in front of your holiday decor. The cards come in sets of 25 including envelopes.
