I am thankful every day for being blessed with such a wonderful job. Singing and laughing with 2 year old Lillian made my day – what a sweetheart!

McAFee Family | O’Fallon Family Photographer

I’ve known Brian since he was a kid playing football with our son Chad so he almost feels like one of my kids. He now has a sweetheart of a wife, Laura and two beautiful children Hagen & Addison. I loved being able to spend some time with them recently and welcome baby Addison. Congratulations to a wonderful family! Feel free to leave them a comment on the blog.

Hagen is very proud to be a big brother!

Amazing what a bribe from dad to go to McDonald’s will do for a smile!

Addison was determined to stay awake and not miss a moment of her first photo shoot, but we did get a few sleepy baby shots. She is just precious!

Nv Dance Force | St. Charles Dance Photographer

I always love working with the dancers at Nv Dance Force! Last year we sweltered in the heat at Forest Park, and this year we started out in the cold rain in Old Town St. Charles. But, no matter the weather, the dancers are troupers! We finished with some groups outside around the studio, set up in doors for a few days, and finally got some great stage shots at the Showcase on June 18. Here are a few of my favorites.

Thank Heaven For Little Girls | St. Charles Family Photographer | Hermann Family Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing two great families recently. The Wunderlich’s at their home near Hermann and The Bushong’s in Old Town St. Charles. Both families have two adorable little girls. The girls are all so sweet – I can’t stop smiling as I go through the photos from their sessions!

Center Stage Dance Academy| St. Peters Dance Photographer

After so many years of practically living in the dance studio, I always enjoy any opportunity I get to hang out in a dance studio. I recently got the chance to spend some time at Center Stage Academy of Dance to photograph their dancers. The students, parents, and teachers were awesome and the photo shoots stayed right on schedule! Here are a few of my personal favorites from the week (It was so hard to choose!). An email with details on accessing the galleries will go to all parents by Saturday, June 18. Thanks for a great week!

Dancers Scott & Melissa

I love sessions with dancers, and this session with Scott & Melissa was no exception! Scott was one of my students many years ago. He met his wife, Melissa while dancing on a cruise ship. They both now dance in Myrtle Beach. It was so much fun to hang out with them and their daughter Molly to get these shots.

And rolling down the hill with dad.

John & Jackie Sneak Peek Part 2

Here is part 2 of John & Jackie’s awesome wedding! I’ll be posting a slideshow tomorrow to include some of the reception shots. I’ve been smiling (and laughing) all day looking at those!

So glad the rain held off for the outdoor ceremony – it was beautiful!

The children’s vows and watering the family tree were both such special touches!

Alaina

I always love newborn shoots and sweet baby Alaina was no exception! The session was even more special because she is the granddaughter of some great friends Greg & Angie. She was just precious, sleeping and posing like a little doll!

Olivia

Olivia was such a joy to work with at her 6 month shoot. She is so sweet and good natured –  she even sat up all by herself. Check out the eyelashes on this girl – gorgeous!
