It was such a pleasure to get to know Phil & Renee. They are an awesome couple, and I immediately felt as though I had known them and their family for years. The weather forecast did not look good for their wedding day at Hermann Hill. The prediction the entire week was 60-70% chance of rain and thunderstorms. But true to the unpredictability of Missouri weather, it didn’t happen! Just before their outdoor ceremony, the sky cleared, the sun appeared and four bald eagles flew overhead. It was truly breathtaking and gives me goose bumps thinking of the guitar music in the background as the eagles circled the Gazebo.

What a gorgeous bride! These images were taken on the deck overlooking the Missouri River at the cottage where Renee & Phil stayed at Hermann Hill.

Renee & Phil chose to see each other prior to the ceremony which gave us time to get some beautiful images of their love for each other.

I loved that they decided to dance on the rocks!

One of my favorite shots of the day – a little hint at what a fun couple they are!

A bald eagle flying over the Gazebo.

Imagine this beautiful site with the sounds of the guitar in the background.

The scene couldn’t have been more romantic as the bride entered with her father.

Renee had made special rocks for each of their parents as a reminder of the special day.

Perfect transportation for Phil, Renee, and their family – The Hermann Trolley – what fun!

Congratulations Renee & Phil and many wishes for a lifetime of happiness!
