Bobby + Colleen | St. Louis Wedding Photographer

August 10th, 2011

Bobby & Colleen have been friends since middle school, but did not start dating until college. It’s easy to see they are not only very much in love, but also great friends! Their ceremony was in the beautiful Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eureka. After the ceremony we braved the St. Louis summer heat and had a great time doing photos in Forest Park before heading to their reception at Moulin. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

Congratulations Bobby & Colleen!

Melissa & Quinn Wedding | Hermann Wedding Photographer

July 3rd, 2011

The weather could not have been any more beautiful and the setting at the Long Farm near Hermann, MO was amazing. There were so many special moments and beautiful images from the day. Here are just a few of my personal favorites. Congratulations to Quinn & Melissa, Duke and Duchess of Bethany Springs!

Loved the butterfly release – my assistant Amanda captured this great shot!

Ashlynn & Bryen Wedding | St. Charles Wedding Photographer

June 30th, 2011

Being a part of Ashlynn & Bryen’s wedding day was such a pleasure! They are the sweetest couple and their love for each other is so obvious. The beautiful ceremony took place at the St. Charles Conservatory. We did a few photos in Old Town St. Charles immediately after the ceremony, but it was so ridiculously hot, they decided on an air conditioned limo ride. We traveled to New Town St. Charles and had a great time as the weather began to cool. We were able to finish with some shots at Boulevard Park just before the rain started and they headed off to their party with family & friends.

I love to turn around and see the look on the groom’s face as his beautiful bride walks down the aisle – makes my heart skip a beat!

Congratulations Ashlynn & Bryen!

Emily & Drew Engagement Session | St. Louis Wedding Photographer

June 20th, 2011

I recently did an engagement session at the Missouri Botanical Garden for the first time. What a wonderful place for a photo shoot! Emily & Drew were so sweet – I loved spending time with them! Here are a few of my favorite shots.

She said yes!

John & Jackie Sneak Peek Part 2

May 26th, 2011

Here is part 2 of John & Jackie’s awesome wedding! I’ll be posting a slideshow tomorrow to include some of the reception shots. I’ve been smiling (and laughing) all day looking at those!

So glad the rain held off for the outdoor ceremony – it was beautiful!

The children’s vows and watering the family tree were both such special touches!

John & Jackie

May 25th, 2011

John & Jackie’s wedding was beautiful! Every detail from the music, to the setting at Wine Country Gardens, to the special touches in the ceremony fit them perfectly. Here’s part one of their sneak peek. Part 2 and a slideshow coming soon!

The swan even posed for this one.

Phil & Renee

April 9th, 2011

It was such a pleasure to get to know Phil & Renee. They are an awesome couple, and I immediately felt as though I had known them and their family for years. The weather forecast did not look good for their wedding day at Hermann Hill. The prediction the entire week was 60-70% chance of rain and thunderstorms. But true to the unpredictability of Missouri weather, it didn’t happen! Just before their outdoor ceremony, the sky cleared, the sun appeared and four bald eagles flew overhead. It was truly breathtaking and gives me goose bumps thinking of the guitar music in the background as the eagles circled the Gazebo.

What a gorgeous bride! These images were taken on the deck overlooking the Missouri River at the cottage where Renee & Phil stayed at Hermann Hill.

Renee & Phil chose to see each other prior to the ceremony which gave us time to get some beautiful images of their love for each other.

I loved that they decided to dance on the rocks!

One of my favorite shots of the day – a little hint at what a fun couple they are!

A bald eagle flying over the Gazebo.

Imagine this beautiful site with the sounds of the guitar in the background.

The scene couldn’t have been more romantic as the bride entered with her father.

Renee had made special rocks for each of their parents as a reminder of the special day.

Perfect transportation for Phil, Renee, and their family – The Hermann Trolley – what fun!

Congratulations Renee & Phil and many wishes for a lifetime of happiness!

Trash The Dress

March 17th, 2011

So, that’s what we called the session, but I wish I could come up with a different name. We didn’t technically trash Amanda’s wedding dress, we just had a fun photo shoot without worrying if something did happen to it. I photographed Amanda and Kendric’s wedding last September. Amanda wanted another opportunity to wear her dress and get some fun images, so we spent an afternoon in downtown St. Louis. It was a little chilly, but we had a blast!

I’m not sure what the temperature of this water was, but it was only 45 degrees outside so that water had to be freezing! Amanda is so much fun, she wanted a shot in the water, so she just went for it!

Amber & Corey Wedding

October 21st, 2010

It is obvious after spending a little time with Amber and Corey that they are very much in love. Amber said her grandmother told her she had not see true love in a long time and it is so wonderful to see. I was so touched by the love between Amber & Corey I even got teary eyed as I snapped shots of their “First Look”. Here are a few of my favorites from their special day.

Getting ready at The Ritz-Carlton

Corey was blindfolded for the limo ride from The Ritz to Forest Park – no peeking until the First Look

And here’s the part where they made me cry – so sweet!

Back to the St. Louis Zoo for the beautiful outdoor ceremony

And a great reception at Rivers Edge

Congratulations Amber & Corey!

Adam & Nichole

October 2nd, 2010

Being able to photograph one of  my former dance students all grown up and getting married was such an honor! I had not seen Nichole in a few years and it was so much fun to catch up with her and meet Adam. Their wedding at Hermann Hill Wedding Chapel was absolutely beautiful.

Adam & Nichole’s daughter Carleigh was so excited for Great Grandma to help her into her pretty dress.

Love the shoes!

What a gorgeous bride!

Nichole’s grandparents were a special part of her day. Grandpa walked her down the aisle and grandma hand sewed details on the dress.

Calleigh & Daddy

Calleigh & Mommy

And Nichole did such a great job making all the special details for the day.

Congratulations Nichole & Adam!
