I’m so excited my image from the circus titled “Just Missed” won first place in the photojournalism category at St. Louis Camera Club last night. I took the image at the Moolah Shrine Circus in St. Charles. Wow, and I just realized I posted to my blog two days in a row – maybe I’m finally about to get caught up from vacation! Now, back to editing.

St. Louis Camera Club WinnerApril 28th, 2010I am very excited and honored that the St. Louis Camera Club has chosen one of my images as one of 30 to represent the St. Louis Camera Club in a display at a “Sister Cities” 50th Anniversary promotion in Stuttgart, Germany. The image will be printed and framed for display. I titled the image “concentration” because of the intense looks on their faces (along with the tongues). These boys are such cuties! |

Brennan & Tyler’s Basketball GameFebruary 26th, 2010From college basketball last week to elementary basketball this week. I had a wonderful time watching my nephew Tyler and grandson Brennan, coached by my brother-in-law David (or as Brennan calls him “Uncle Coach”). They both played very hard and did such a great job! Here’s some of my favorite shots from the game. |
