One of my favorite parts of photography is capturing memories of special moments shared with families, and this family was no exception. Johanna and Phillip are such an awesome couple and their boys are adorable! Thank you for allowing me to spend some time with your beautiful family!

Congratulations to Alexandra Milakis for winning the Photogenic Award at Starpower Talent Competition with one of the images we took at her dance shoot last fall. Can’t wait for our next shoot – let’s hope for a warmer day!

Sierra was one of my dance students when I owned my studio. It was so much fun to have her come in for a photo shoot! Her moves were awesome as ever and she was such a sweetheart doing every jump, layout, and battment as many times as needed to get the shot! Here are my favorites – Thanks Sierra!

Arrived home from Vegas late Wednesday night. You should have heard the uproar on the plane when the pilot announced it was 76 degrees in St. Louis (it was 49 degrees in Vegas)! Even with the chilly weather we had a wonderful week. Other than WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) convention, the highlight of the week for me was the Cirque Du Soleil Show “Ka”. Wow, Amazing, unbelieveable! I learned so much at the convention – it was awesome!

12,000 photographers with an 8 am class makes for a long line at Starbucks!
